Having started in 1974, our full-service acupuncture supply company was built on the name “Electro-Therapeutic Devices Inc”. We have seen the landscape of acupuncture, and healthcare, in general, continuously change over the years. Practitioners can trust all our products are in compliance with updated Health Canada regulations, including the newly amended ISO standard to MDSAP (Medical Device Single Audit Program).

As our family-owned and operated company enters a new generation, we thought we would launch a new name to reflect and celebrate the changing of the times since 1974.

“Opis” is the Roman goddess of resource and abundance. We are most appreciative of our community of global suppliers and mostly our customers, who are OUR most abundant and knowledgeable resource. We welcome Opis Supplies Inc as our new name as we continue to encourage and enhance the practice of acupuncture through research support and the continual offering of superior products.
